Enrolling/Transferring - ACT Public Schools

Parents/carers are welcome to apply to enrol/transfer their child at any time during the school year using an online application form. Full details are available from Enrolling in an ACT Public Schools.

Enrolments for High School

Students may be enrolled into Year 7 to Year 10 in accordance with the ACT Education Directorate Enrolment Policy.

Each ACT public school gives priority to the enrolment of children living in its Priority Enrolment Area (PEA). More information, including information about the PEA for UC High School Kaleen, can be found on the Education Directorate's PEA page.

NSW families are welcome to apply for specific pathway schools located in Tuggeranong and Belconnen. More information can be found at NSW resident enrolments.

All Students

Parents/Carers are required to make an appointment with the Deputy Principal, Greg Stirling, for the enrolment of a student in years 8 - 10. Parents/Carers of students enrolling in year 7 who have missed the Year 7 enrolment cut off date will also need to make an appointment. If an offer of placement is made, parents/carers are required to complete an Online Enrolment Form on initial entry to University of Canberra High School Kaleen. The front office can assist families with accessing the online application if required. Enrolment form can be located at Enrolling in an ACT Public Schools.

The use of web based learning resources has increased steadily over the last decade as teachers use various resources to improve opportunities for student learning. UC High School Kaleen would like students to access sites provided by the following groups. Students will not necessarily access all sites listed, as some are year level or subject specific.
