Leadership
Quest is a social learning program which promotes positive behaviour and excellence in meeting a challenging and exciting future. Students will be required to participate in a society which is diverse, multicultural, constantly changing and increasingly more complex and potentially stressful.
This course will help students develop a range of skills to not only cope with such a society but to achieve in it and to shape its direction in order to meet their goals and aspirations. They will engage in critical thinking, learn positive life habits, develop communication skills, understand strategies to handle set-backs and, practice leadership and achievement. Students will develop cooperative working relationships, confidence and the capacity to realise that they control their future.
Cambodia
In 2007 Quest students have the opportunity to travel to Cambodia on a cultural excursion which includes building houses in village communities. This trip will be planned again for 2008 and to take place every other year. Students in Quest plan and complete fundraising projects which cover the costs of building materials for the houses. ($1200 each).
