School Board
The School Board is an integral part of the school based management system established under the Education Act 2005. The key objective of the Board is to secure the best outcomes for students by providing the opportunities that enable students to attain their full potential.
The role of the Board includes establishing strategic direction of the school & developing policies for the effective use of school assets, budget approval & curriculum review, to develop relationships between the school & the community, monitor school performance & to report on it to the Chief Executive, parents & staff.
The Board is elected from the school community & consists of three parent members, two teachers, two students, a community representative & the school principal. Some boards have coopted members when required.
The Board welcomes feedback from the school community on how the school is operating & on any particular issues you may wish to raise.
Meetings of the Board are held monthly during the school terms.
